This news item comes from the latest edition of the MAUREEN O’HARA MAGAZINE NEWSLETTER.
Just to let you know that “Cowboys and Indians” Magazine (July 2007 issue) has dedicated an 11 page feature article to John Wayne with a fabulous photo layout and cover. Joe Leydon authors the article on Duke and I have written a sidebar setting out Maureen’s memories of her beloved friend.
I have been associated with Maureen O’Hara as well as archival research on John Wayne for over 12 years and I can say without question that this is the best magazine layout I have ever seen to date. So don’t miss it. Copies should be on the street by June 12th, but if you can’t locate one locally, head for their website at http://www.cowboysandindians.com/
This edition is definitely a collector’s item.
