(dukewayne.com) We have been told that John Agar has passed away, he was 81.
His movie career spanned for more than 50 years starring in many sci-fi flicks and in 1981 he received the Life Career Awards from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. He also starred along side John Wayne in 6 westerns- Fort Apache(1948), She Wore a Yellow Ribbon(1949), Sands Of Iwo Jima(1949), The Undefeated(1969), Chisum(1970), and Big Jake(1971). Funeral plans haven’t been released.
